Graduation

A fantastic third album that continues the trend seen from The College Dropout to Late Registration to great acclaim. This album generally feels like if you took many of those happy songs from Late Registration, took the production on those to an even higher level, and then reproduced them each about 3 times over. I will say that I miss the greater sense of variety on this as compared to his prior works, and that I dislike that end of the skits interlaced among the songs, but those gripes can’t change the fact that this was and remains a generational work. Drunk and Hot Girls and Big Brother stand out to me as being different from the rest of the album (and still fantastic), where the other songs are larger all very upbeat (albeit, expressing that upbeat-ness with different types of production). Anyways, another banger.

Champion, I Wonder, Can’t Tell Me Nothing, Flashing Lights, The Glory, Homecoming, and Good Night are all peak; shit, the whole album is.

TL;DR: He made graduation.
